So, you have finally made up your mind about tying the knot? But you have not found the “right one” as yet, and like so many other young people of today, you turn to an online matrimonial site to begin your search. The site says, chances of response improve if you submit a photo. So you go ahead and attach with your profile that passport size photo you had got clicked when you were hunting for jobs. You ask, why not? After all, it served its purpose when I got this lucrative job, so it must be functional enough! Is it? Think again. Here you are looking for your life partner, that probable person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life! Don’t you think it will be better if your photo revealed to the viewer a glimpse of your personality?
So where does photo retouching come into the picture?
Well often it so happens that the person who originally shot the photograph was just your friendly neighborhood photographer, who obliges you with instant passport size photos when you are really in a rush.
